Adult Sabbath School
Sabbath school classes are the heartbeat of our church community. Each week we spend time learning from Scripture and from each other. Find the right class for you from the options listed below:
General Lesson Study - This class is focused on discussing the lesson for that week which is centered around a Theme for the current Quarter. It is small group based. Currently, The Prophetic Gift is under discussion. This class is led by various leaders and meets in the sanctuary.
Open Discussion Study - This class has recently started The God So Loved The World Bible Studies and has covered topics like, How to Study the Bible, Daniel 1 - Diet as a Witness of Salvation, How were we created?, What are the differences in Bible translations? What are the benefits of having the Bible written in Hebrew and Greek? Or just questions you were asked that you want to know the answer to. This class is open to people new to the Bible, Young Adults and older teens as well. It is led by Elder Paul McKoy and meets in the Room upstairs.
Our Sabbath school fellowship begins at 9:30 AM.. Children's classes begin immediately while adult Sabbath school opens with a short program in the sanctuary which can consist of singing, inspirational thoughts, mission stories, and special features. After the opening program, adults divide into their separate classes usually by 10:00 AM
